In the Realm of Weird Incentives...

...today I am offering a really oblique incentive, in the form of an MP3 of me singing a Spanish lullaby my character sings in the latest episode of Spots the Space Marine. My deal was that anyone who donates can go download it, and if I hit a cap it becomes free for everyone to hear, and I'm already over halfway to it being free. Check it out here.
I find that surprising people with unexpected incentives can sometimes revitalize interest if donations start sagging. I had no complaints with my pay level but when I realized that my story was about to include a lullaby, it seemed like a great opportunity to do something unusual. So I went with it. :)
Anyway, just a random observation. Maybe you'll see something in what you're doing that will lead you to a similar, strange but interesting opportunity. :)
