I am selling, and calling for prompts for, short stories. Further details at my journal.

Update! [personal profile] dialecticdreamer, as described in the comments or at her journal, is offering more words to the same money! Thank you, [personal profile] dialecticdreamer!

Laughing. I woke up to this in my "inbox," and it's really made the morning already!

Yeah, don't sweat it. She, her, boring-old-cishet-female here. You have all the fun, and I just get to watch the parade every year! (Someday, the Pride Parade is going to become THE Parade, and every other one will have to specify themselves in comparison. That, actually, is my prompt!)

That reminds me of how all Schrodinger's Heroes have an afghan indicating their orientation, including Chris who is allocishet and was feeling left out. But there is a heterosexual flag too, pink and blue with a white heart.

Everyone should have a chance to celebrate who they are. I think in a healthier world, the old Gay Pride Parade would become a Self-Awareness Parade.

I just re-read it. I still love it!

I was just reading about the Stonewall riot, in a book written by a journalist who was involved in that community and interviewed as many people as possible at the time instead of five years later. That was... I don't want to ever go back to that kind of social isolation and denigration, NEVER.

Equality, and dignity, are BASIC human rights!
